Rude Wallace
Some time ago, I confronted one of my fellow students about the fact that he always talked to me in a piss take English accent. Often I would be greeted by "Oh good morning my Lord" or something equally witty. Eventually I snapped and asked him quite aggressively to desist from his nonsense which he eventually agreed to, though he felt sure I was over reacting.
This week, it was his turn to confront me. I and another guy had made some drunken noise in his flat and had woken him at the frightful time of 10pm. The following morning he reprimanded me, despite my best efforts to apologise.
For a while I was certain that he had over reacted and couldn't work out why until I returned to the day when I had scolded him for something equally petty. I can now hear all sorts of trite truisms taunting me, but hopefully there is something to be learned from this newly found insight.
The question is whether it will really stop me from being a rude bastard or not.
