Boat,party
This weekend Gem and I met up with some friends down in Hazelhatch to look at the barges and narrowboats that line the banks there. Some people 'liveaboard' and we met with Mick who has a beautiful barge and has lived there for about a year.
Unlike the UK there aren't too many people that live on the river despite the fact that it's such a cheap alternative to the housing market. The river is generally a tranquil place. People visibly relax, even I found myself drifting off down stream.
We took the river feeling back to Dublin and that night we all drank ourselves merrily merrily merrily to a party next door at Siobhan, Barry and Kims. I have some fond memories of that night, I also have sore knuckles thanks to Karl and Neil.

Was that the 'Knuckle punching game'? A mild version of the 'Headbutt game' perfected and then mercifully jettisoned one night in 2002.
